Chaim Szyia Goldberg

Chaim
Szyia was born in Lodz in 1881, married and had two
daughters there, before moving to London in 1907.
He
had another daughter in London and a fourth in
Essex, before the family emigrated to New York in
1922.
He
died in Florida in 1954. His siblings in Europe lost
touch with him during World War II and four
generations spent decades searching for him and his
family. They were finally located in 2003 and
welcomed back into the family.
