Boruch Ick Bejnsztejn, Dayan of Radzilow

Probably taken in Radzilow, c.1905

Boruch Ick came from the huge Bejnsztejn family with very deep roots in Radzilow, which have been traced back

to the mid-18th century. He was born in Radzilow in 1835 and married into first the Kowalski and later the Toporowski families. His half-brother married into the Piechota family. He died in Radzilow, 1910

Chaja Fejga (née Bejnsztejn) and her husband Mortchaj Tyszkowski (later Fannie and Max Tish)

New York, 1910

Chaja Fejga was the daughter of the Dayan of Radzilow, Boruch Ick Bejnsztejn, and she married Mortchaj in

Jedwabne in 1896. The family lived in Radzilow, but moved to London c.1900, then on to New York in 1907

(Mortchaj) and 1909 (Chaja Fejga and their sons). Longevity runs in the Tyszkowski family, and Mortchaj was

no exception, living to be 95. Chaja Fejga died in 1932, Mortchaj in 1966.
