Max was born in Radzilow in
1891 and was enlisted into the Russian Army in early 1915. Although he
never saw
action, he served with the
army for three years, before making his way east, through China to
Japan. He sailed from Yokohama to Seattle, WA, in 1918, and settled
first in New York, then in Tampa, FL. He died in Tampa in 1986.

1909. He emigrated to the US in 1930, smuggled
in illegally by
his brother, Max. Philip enlisted
for army service at Newark, NJ, in
December 1943 and was
posted to England
several
times. He died in Tampa, FL, in 1991.
